• IgEquity

  IgEquity (IgE) addresses and aims to remove the barriers and biases standing in the way of gender equity in immunology.

• ImmunoTEX

  ImmunoTEX is a technician-driven program that fosters community, mentorship, career development, and research recognition among technicians, including staff research associates and junior specialists.

• Mental Health Coalition (MHC)

  MHC creates a community where people can come together to talk, listen, and learn, and to reduce the stigma associated with mental health by providing support, resources, and opportunities to connect with others.

  Join the community of UCSF clinicians and scientists who recognize that the immune system plays a key role in a widening number of human diseases.

• Innovative Funds

  The Bakar ImmunoX Initiative has committed significant funds for endowments that catalyze engagement and promote a strong, diverse community.

• Bakar Trainee Momentum Award

  The Bakar Trainee Momentum Award provides support towards supplemental technical assistance, particularly for new caregivers in the critical period after childbirth or during early child-rearing.
